Our Approach

Our Beginnings

In 2016, Ai Kahu was founded as an extension of Tina's love for both teaching and all things food.  As a professional chef, and chef instructor, Tina began her professional career in 1999 and has endeavored to contribute some of the "old school" charms to the new culinary world.

The name Ai Kahu was chosen, to honor the Hawaiian roots, where we were founded.  Pronounced "aye-ka-who" it means Food Guardian.
