State of Hawaii ETF Program

January 1st, 2020 - July 31, 2021

Q: What is the State of Hawaii's ETF Program?

A: The ETF(Employment Training Fund) program is a State Funded Program that allows an appeared vendor (us) to train the local workforce in a variety of pre-approved courses.

Q: What is the benefit of utilizing the ETF Program?

A: The State of Hawaii will pay for 50% of the cost of the training, per person! (excluding shipping and tax)

Q: What is the catch?

A: There isn't a catch, just an extra form you (the employer) needs to complete and submit (before the applicable deadline) to qualify. Please note the state does not cover the cost of shipping the textbooks.

Q: Where are these trainings?

A: These qualifying trainings can be found on our training calendar or under the registration section of our website.  Only courses with the phrase "ETF Approved Course" on the course description will qualify for the reimbursement. Click Here for our Calendar of Trainings

Q: What comes with the ETF trainings?

A: The same things that come with the general or private trainings are included.

Q: What is the application process?

A: If you're interested, please contact us via email or phone with the following information:

-Date of training you want to attend

-Name of persons

From here we will email you over an application form, which you must submit 10 business days in advance to the State of Hawaii.

Next you'll need to pay your invoice before the date of the training (part of the ETF requirement).

Lastly, we ship you the books and you begin to study.  The ETF program will notify you of the application approval and we're all set!

Q: What happens if I register but need to cancel my attendance?

A: If you've submitted your ETF form to the State, you'll need to submit in writing to both them and us 2 business days in advance a letter/email stating you're needing to cancel your participation.

If you have already received your textbook or study materials, you will need to send those back, within 7 days of cancellation or the amount in full is still due(full amount of training includes both your portion and the states reimbursement, plus taxes & shipping).

Q:  How do we register for an ETF training?

A: You can register by visiting the registration section of the website and selecting your date of training.  Please also then select that you're looking to participate in the ETF portion of the financing and we will send over the forms along with your confirmation of registration. Click Here

Q: I still have questions, who can I speak with?
